"Wire with a Memory" Trailer

Students experiment with weird wire that remembers its original shape. Even when you heat it, stretch it, cool it, and twist it, it goes right back to its original shape. This relates to atoms, crystals, density, alloys, heat, cold, expansion, contraction, and properties of metals. This video also includes one of Mr. Mac’s crazy stories, “Evil Mister Fred’s Burning Hand,” to help students remember the lesson. Difficulty: Hard.
