As a nonprofit organization, Rock-it Science needs your support in order to continue bringing science to underserved schools and creating free videos for our website. Please contact us to volunteer your service or materials. Here are some ways you can help Rock-it Science:

Make a Donation - This is the most effective way to support us. Rock-It Science is a 501(c)3 nonprofit charitable organization, and donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Use the "Make a Donation" button at right to donate securely through PayPal (PayPal account not required).

Donate Equipment and "Stuff"- Cleaning out your garage or office? Check with us before disposing of used items. We may be able to use it in our lab. Sometimes even non-working equipment can be taken apart and used in experiments. See our Equipment Wish List.

Donate Supplies - We use large amounts of office supplies and household items for our lessons. Some of them are relatively inexpensive, but over the course of a year it adds up! If you can donate some of these, it will help our funds go farther. See our list of Frequently-Used Supplies, and when you're out shopping, pick up a few extra items for Rock-it Science.

Volunteer in our Laboratory's Workshop - Many of our lessons require considerable prep work. Items need to be measured, cut, counted, drilled, bundled, etc. Our instructors do most of this work themselves and would greatly appreciate some help. Some tasks require familiarity with power tools, but others can be done by anyone. This would be occasional work, and we'd like to have a team of people we could call on when needed. Join our prep crew!

Assist in our Classes or Camps - Help our instructors set up, pass out supplies to students, and assist with cleanup. If you're good at storytelling, you might get a chance to do it in one of our lessons. And if you’re a consistent and reliable volunteer, it could develop into a paid position.

Transcribe our Stories - Many of our lessons have been videotaped, and we'd like to have the stories transcribed so additional instructors can learn them. (We would provide an audio file so you can do this at home on your computer.)

Write Grant Applications - We don’t have a grantwriter on staff, and if you have this skill, we would greatly appreciate your support.

Serve on our Board of Directors - We're looking for a few people who really understand and support our way of teaching science, and who are willing to help network, promote, and raise funds for Rock-it Science so we can expand our facility and offer more classes.
