High School a-g Physics Class

Hands on, experiment based physics for high school! Our new comprehensive a-g Physics class combines exciting hands on labs and interesting explanations that involve our favorite Rock-It Science characters.

  • Exciting, hands on experiments each week!
  • Class length two hours to allow more time to go in depth and engage in discussion.
  • Full a-g Physics class with weekly assignments and textbook connections.
  • Prerequisites:
    • Algebra
    • Age 13+
    • Ability to do work at a high school level
  • Topics: Mechanics, kinematics, energy, and momentum in the Fall. The second half of the course offered in the Spring will include waves, light, sound, electricity, and magnetism.
  • Textbook (optional): Inspire Physics, McGraw Hill

Tuesdays 1:40-3:40

14 Week Session: January 20 – May 9, Winter Break February 17-21 and Spring Break April 1-4

Note: This is a continuation of the class that was started in the Fall.

Tuition: $700 ($740 charter school)
