Fall 2026 Science Classes

Hands on, experiment based science classes with new topics and experiments for the Fall of 2026! Our Cupertino facility provides both an indoor lab space with ample spaces outside for our larger and messier experiments.

• All New Experiments Each Session! We typically don’t repeat experiments more than once every 3-4 years.
• More classes! Additional classes on a range of subjects offered for homeschool families at the same location Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday by A-Team.

Fall Experiment List

• Liquid Nitrogen – Explore what happens to objects in super cold temps and create dippin’ dots!
• Osmosis – How and why does water and air move through boundaries and create change?
• Vacuum Packed Kids – Study vacuums with our vacuum chamber and vacuum packing!
• Strobe Lights – Can you freeze time with flashing lights?
• UV Light – What is UV light and how does it make things glow?
• Shrinking Plastic – Explore polymers and create images that shrink into baubles!
• Hot Air Balloons – What happens when you fill a giant bag with hot air?
• Spectroscopes – Split light into a rainbow in a tube!
• Bioactive Terrarium – Explore the terrarium of our class crested gecko Chips!
• Exploring Ice – Can you lift an ice cube with a piece of string? Create convection currents?
• Owl Pellets – Discover and identify bones and construct a creature for your mini museum!
• Straw Towers – How much weight can you support at the top of a tower?
• Smoke Rings – Create smoke rings and underwater vortices!
• Paddle Boats – Can you create a self propelled boat with legos and rubber bands?

Schedule and Registration

14 Week Session: September 1st – December 17th, October Break October 5-9 and Thanksgiving Break November 23-27

Tuition:

• $355 ($395 charter school) for standard science classes
• $700 ($740 charter school) for 2 hour High School a-g Chemistry

If a class is marked as full and closed to new registration you can contact our director at director@rockitscience.com to be placed on the wait list. We highly recommend you follow the instructions on our “How to Register” page to avoid any confusion if you are new to our system. Registration will be open on Thursday May 14th for our Fall 2026 classes! The schedule is shown below. When the classes are open for registration the buttons below will become live and we will send out an e-mail to our distribution list. If you are with Ocean Grove, please note that you can register at any time even if your ES is not available until Fall to submit your PO.
